UniBond Seal & Bond – A premium, polymer-based sealant designed to last!
With its versatile adhesion, resistance to UV rays, and ease of application, UniBond Seal and Bond is an ideal choice for various indoor and outdoor projects. This sealant contains a fungicide, making it suitable for sealing joints in warm, humid environments where there is a likelihood of mould growth.
Application: Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean and free of dust and other contaminates. Remove any old sealant. Cut off the tip of the cartridge above the screw thread, screw on nozzle and cut the tip to desired size. Insert the cartridge into cartridge gun. Sealing; Apply the sealant into the joint at a 45° angle, ensuring that the joint is fully filled. Smooth the sealant with a sealant smoothing tool within 5 minutes and, immediately remove any excess sealant with white spirit. Bonding: Apply to one surface in spots or vertical lines and immediately make the bond by firmly pressing the surfaces together using a slight twisting action to maximise contact area. Remove excess using white spirit.
